Born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in Texas, Jamie has been influenced by music the majority of her life.
She began at the age of ten and continued to perfect her singing through her teenage years as she
competed in local and state competitions. As a graduate of Westminster Choir College in Princeton,
New Jersey, Jamie studied opera and classical music with professional coaches. As part of her curriculum she recorded with the
Westminster Symphonic Choir, the in-service choir for the New York Philharmonic and Philadelphia Orchestra.
In 1994, Jamie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.
After completing college Jamie established a career in Human Resources, while continuing to sing.
Jamie recorded her first demo in 1998, which showcases her own unique style of country music.
In 2001, Jamie added several new selections to her demo.
In the spirit of continuing to do what she loves most, Jamie formed, An Occasion to Sing, LLC.
Jamie has been singing for weddings and other occasions for over 15 years. Her music background and formal training
allow her the flexibility to sing a range of scores from contemporary to classical.
Jamie is married, has one daughter, and lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
In addition to singing, Jamie enjoys playing piano, skiing, golf, and photography.
